At least 6 years of age, successful completion of the skills in Red Cross Swim Kids Level 4


Back crawl is introduced, along with sculling skills and whip kick on back. Front crawl continues to be developed. Children try stride dives and receive an introduction to safe boating skills. Endurance is developed through a 50 meter swim.
